ince 2015, the Community Partners program has provided
approximately 35,000 individuals each year with $1 ticket
vouchers. The program provides this $1 admission to families
receiving government assistance, as well as free general admission
to all active-duty members and veterans of the U.S. military, law
enforcement, 昀椀re昀椀ghters, and all active medical professionals.
In 2021, the Museum launched an innovative expansion of the
program to provide full-year, full-access memberships to families
who qualify for state or federal assistance through partnerships
with more than 40 nonpro昀椀t organizations. Memberships are
distributed to families who qualify through partner organizations,
such as For Oak Cliff, Uplift Education, North Texas Food Bank, the
Mexican Consulate, and Catholic Charities.
In FY24, the Museum activated more than 5,500 Community
Partners memberships, serving more than 25,000 people.
Community Partners families enjoy unlimited visits, access to
members-only programming, and much more. Through this vital
initiative, the Museum continues to inspire curiosity, foster
inclusion, and build brighter STEM futures for diverse communities
across North Texas.
