Expanding Access to STEM
T
he Perot Museum’s commitment to accessible STEM
education is creating opportunities for learners
across North Texas with $2.8 million in 昀椀nancial
aid breaking down barriers and creating pathways to
discovery for underserved communities.
This investment in equitable access has directly enabled
almost 75,000 students to experience school 昀椀eld
trips through more than 850 school visits. For many of
these students, this represents their 昀椀rst-ever museum
experience — a pivotal moment of inspiration that
classroom instruction alone cannot provide.
Beyond the Museum’s walls, our 昀椀nancial aid initiatives
have extended STEM learning to almost 105,000
participants through off-site programs, bringing hands-on
science experiences directly to communities with limited
transportation options or resource constraints.
Corporate partnerships form the foundation of these
impactful initiatives. Goldman Sachs Gives exempli昀椀es this
approach, with employees contributing 43 gifts totaling

nearly $315,000 in FY24, primarily supporting Title I
schools where 昀椀nancial barriers would otherwise prevent
STEM engagement.
Texas Instruments has focused its support on helping
the Museum provide free admission for educators,
recognizing that empowering teachers creates an
exponential impact in classrooms throughout the region.
Wingstop Charities has directed its resources toward
Discovery Camps and bringing outreach programs
directly to communities during the summer months,
meeting young learners where they are. And Lockheed
Martin’s contributions help us extend free general
admission to all active-duty military members and
veterans while also investing in ConnecTEEN, which
helps shape the future of STEM across North Texas.
Through these strategic partnerships and 昀椀nancial aid
initiatives, the Perot Museum continues to break down
economic barriers to quality STEM education, ensuring
that curiosity and learning opportunities are available
to all members of our diverse community regardless of
昀椀nancial circumstances.
