Volunteers
T
he Perot Museum’s volunteers play a crucial role
in enhancing guest experiences and supporting
educational initiatives throughout our 11 permanent
exhibit halls. By sharing their passion for learning, they
make science accessible to everyone while developing their
own skills and creating meaningful connections.
In addition to individual volunteers, we also encourage
and welcome group participation. Our group volunteering
options accommodate teams of 10-15 participants,
including school groups, corporate teams, and civic
organizations. These 昀氀exible opportunities allow groups to
contribute through special events, educational programs,
or exhibit support.
Our youth-focused initiatives speci昀椀cally support building
the STEM pipeline for tomorrow’s innovators. ConnecTEEN,
our application-based summer volunteer program for
students aged 14+, is supported by Lockheed Martin and
offers young people the opportunity to engage Museum
guests through hands-on activities while building valuable
21st-century skills. Industry-speci昀椀c workshops expose
teens to diverse career pathways in a curated, hands-on
manner. In one impactful workshop supported by Jacobs,
teens tackled an engineering challenge inspired by a realworld bridge collapse in Sierra Blanca, Texas, developing
solutions while designing a functional community with
housing, a 昀椀re station, and a grocery store.

Across all our volunteer initiatives, participants become
ambassadors for scienti昀椀c discovery, inspiring curiosity in
others while supporting the Museum’s mission of making
STEM education engaging and accessible for all community
