EXPANDING
ACCESS TO STEM
The Perot Museum’s commitment to
accessible STEM education continues
to open doors for learners across North
Texas. Fueled in part by the generosity
demonstrated at Night at the Museum,
the Museum’s financial aid programs
break down barriers and create pathways
to discovery for all North Texans.
More than 62,000 students had their
Museum experience covered by financial
aid this year alone — many experiencing
a world-class science institution for
the first time. Cracking open a geode,
controlling a robot, or meeting a scientist
who looks like them, these pivotal
moments of inspiration go beyond what
classroom instruction alone can provide.
All programs were available free
to Title I schools and organizations
serving children from underrepresented
communities. Beyond our walls, TECH
Trucks and outreach programs brought
hands-on experiences to more than
108,000 people in neighborhoods across
North Texas.
COMMUNITY
PARTNERS
Since 2015, the Community Partners
program has made the Museum
accessible to families receiving
government assistance through
discounted admission vouchers — with
more than 50,000 of those tickets
redeemed this year alone. In 2021,
the Museum expanded the program
to provide year-round, full-access
memberships to qualifying families
through partnerships with more than
40 nonprofit organizations — including
For Oak Cliff, Uplift Education, North
Texas Food Bank, the Mexican Consulate,
and Catholic Charities.
In FY25, more than 5,300 families enjoyed
Community Partners memberships across
North Texas. These households enjoyed
unlimited visits, access to members-only
programming, and much more. The Museum
also offers free and discounted admission
to military personnel and first responders
and their families, with more than 34,000
tickets provided this year. Through these
vital initiatives, the Museum continues
to inspire curiosity, foster inclusion, and
build brighter STEM futures for diverse
communities across North Texas.
