BUG FEST
On September 20, 2025, Bug Fest brought
thousands of people to the Museum for
a day dedicated to the incredible world
of insects. Visitors got hands-on with live
bugs, enjoyed bug-themed activities and
treats, and took home giveaways. The event
offered free general admission to our Bug
Lab exhibition, where guests discovered
how insects solve problems that inspire
human innovation. Presented in partnership
with WFAA as part of its Family First series,
Bug Fest proved that even the tiniest
creatures can spark big curiosity.
THURSDAYS ON TAP
Thursdays on Tap reached new heights
this year, with most nights selling out
as adults 21 and over embraced this
exceptional opportunity to explore the
Museum after hours. Running from April
through October, these popular evenings
offered guests live music, food trucks,
and adult beverages — all against the
backdrop of our captivating exhibits.
The series grants full access to the
Museum, including all exhibit halls
and traveling exhibitions, creating the
perfect setting for a memorable date
night, a distinctive meetup with friends,
or a new gathering spot for coworkers.
This unconventional Museum experience
continues to prove that combining
culture, cuisine, and connection creates
unforgettable evenings.
